RF-EMFs can interfere with active implants.

The International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) acknowledges that RF-EMFs can interfere with active implants. ICNIRP considers such exposures outside the scope of its guidelines. This means that the responsibility falls on pacemaker manufacturers and patients’ medical providers.

Pacemakers

Individuals with active pacemakers should keep their distance from an active microwave. Patients and doctors should take note of this advice.
